I will be in vegas this weekend. The forcast calls for chilly 110 degree highs. It also says that on Friday and Sunday there will be isolated Thunderstorms. Is this likely or is this a typical forcast and it won't rain. Just curious if I will be hot and wet this trip to the Desert.

I am well experienced in the Vegas scene(go around 5 times a year for the past 7 years). I was just curious if it was actually going to rain this weekend.

 

Screw the taxi they have s2k rentals there!

 

If it rains in vegas it's no big deal. Thunderstorms are isolated and will not last all day. Usually just during the hottest part of the day and trust me you will be happy to feel some rain drops. Pack an unbrella just incase.

Cool, I pretty much plan on spending all my time in the clubs and casinos, so I guess it won't matter anyway. I guess my curiosity just got the best of me. I mean, I thought it was the desert and that it doesn't rain in the desert. I guess it is no Sahara or Mohave

Drive to Texas from there, there are some great stretches of open road if you know where to go.
