What irked me was that this particular radio station usually plays hip-hop music 90% of the time. If I wanted to listen to left or right wing political spew there are plenty of other stations that shit it out daily. You really only hear the DJ's when they do commercials or break for traffic report.

This morning they stopped playing music and just used the station to dump on Reagan. Come on, the guy just died and people are in mourning for the President and the city is preparing for the funeral ceremonies.

It was all in bad taste. Their words and mannerism made them look like a bunch of uneducated monkeys. It was very low class.

As for: "Reagan tried to abolish the Department of Education and attacked the Head Start program."

I was too young when Reagan was president to really pay attention to his policies but this I can comment on because it was a school project...

Very reasonable. So many programs that people complain about not being supported weren't a result of Reagan not believing in a particular cause. It was because he believed in a small Federal government. Leave it up to the states.

it's just entertaiment, they need ratings. anything to get people fuming and tuning in to listen brings $$$ to the radio stations.

Reagan this, Reagan that. I think I'm already getting sick of it. It's already worse than Friends Last Episode sh*t.

He deserves all of the attention he's gotten. Him and FDR are probably the two best presidents of the 20th century.

Except regan vastly increased the size of the federal government, despite his intentions.
