Reasons I HATE APPLE or Mac

Did all of you dirt poor Microsoft loving teeny boppers who drive 8 year old used AP1's come up with the cash to order an iPad yesterday? I did, the 64GB WiFi version. It will fit in well in our house with the 27" iMac, 17" Macbook Pro, Time Capsule, Extreme N Airport Router, 2 iPhones, and 3 iPods. It all works together beautifully with zero maintenance or downtime.
No worries for you value conscious Microsoft lovers. You can wait for the next round of utterly useless Win7 based tablet PC's with a "real keyboard" and "real desktop operating system" with zero content and no content delivery system. Because after all, you don't need a content delivery system if you have no content to deliver. Or, maybe you can build your own. I'm sure the HP/Dell/Microsoft devices will be the absolute fastest doorstops at the absolute lowest price.
Apple can only offer innovation that moves the entire computer industry forward while it changes the music industry, S/W development industry, publishing industry, movie industry, etc. Yeah, no value to to society there, right?
As for the Linux geek crowd.....

and also you are super smart for thinking apple invented the tablet.
newsflash, microsoft introduced tablet PC in 2001. can you do the math to see how long ago that was? or maybe you can just pay someone to tell you.
we were having a selectively decent conversation without you (and a few others) so feel free to refrain.
thanks

most of the worlds servers use linux as you can make it what you want from the first line of code and beyond.
My Mac solves my problems when I'm at home. My WinXP system solves my problems at work. My RHEL box solves another set of work problems better than my WinXP box (and with less hardware overhead).
[QUOTE=HKStallion,Mar 13 2010, 09:20 AM] Wow!! you must be super rich, will you adopt me?

I never said that Apple invented the tablet PC. That was your leap of logic from the back of the short bus. Microsoft is indeed responsible for the abortion known as a tablet PC. And look what they've managed to do with it in the last decade. Very impressive! I've never seen the entire planet yawn in unison before. Neat trick!
Apple on the other hand just invented a portable content delivery device using a custom processor and hi-res capacitive touchscreen along with lining up content creators, a content delivery platform, an operating system designed to eliminate the need for a keyboard and facilitate mobile computing, plus an army of developers to take advantage of all the preceding innovations, not to mention a suite of native applications that take full advantage of the unique OS and hardware. Yep, Apple is certainly no Microsoft. Thankfully!
Meanwhile, Microsoft and pals promise the next flawed iteration of a desktop operating system on generic hardware with the mandatory keyboard.....someday.....maybe. No matter, the world is not waiting for a tablet PC. Perhaps a decade is not long enough for you to process that message. Keep trying.
Oh my, someone has been hitting the Steve Jobs blotter paper:
>No, I won't adopt you. I have no place for a special needs child.
No place, no heart, or no understanding of multiple modalities outside of what's been dispensed to you? I'm thinking the latter two.
>And look what they've managed to do with it in the last decade. Very impressive! I've never

You say yawn, some may say "change the largest user base in history while fielding multiple lawsuits." It's tough being #1 - wait until Apple gets there.

You remind me of the kids at Google. . . they have no idea what's underneath them.

Wow, the diatribe above by 8D_In_Trunk must have been generated on a Microsoft tablet. I gave up trying to read due to a complete lack of punctuation other than > separating lines of code er...text. What a mess. But a very good representation of the Microsoft crowd. Thank you for illustrating my points. Very slick!
