Also, a year ago I tried out okcupid.com. It's completely free and it got me laid at least 3 times by girls I WOULD admit to touching to my friends...

I am all for fate kind of like PDX S2000 says....you need to be in the right places though...not sure where the good places are...Grocery store? library?
seems like people at the Gym like to keep to themselves........

Gym is a horrible place, but if you go often you will inevitably know some of the regulars after a while...ask her for a spot, 'work in' on a piece of equipment.. these are all very common and acceptable approaches to regular gym going people... not sure I'd ever try it to meet a female though. Coffee shops are one of the best spots in the NW.. we love our coffee... any time of the day or night.
Clothing stores are great... act clueless and ask for advice, it works for a few reasons... you've opened the door for conversation, it's something women are generally interested in, and you'll be able to tell within 30 seconds if she's interested in you.
