If you ever truly loved someone, you love them forever. That does not mean that you don't also hate her.

The general rule of thumb is one year of recovery for every year of relationship.

Shop around for a good counselor, it will be money well spent. It might even be covered under your medical plan at work. And. no, I am not in the profession, just sign me:

Been there, done that.

BTW, good luck. Ending relationships is such a PITA.

My guess is because it's too difficult to have contact. IMO there are several forms of love and love can change, which doesn't mean it goes away. It's a time of transition - hang in there.

For me its 1 day for every year.

None of us here can really tell you if you truly love or hate her, that is something you must ask yourself. Take some time off from the real world and go somewhere and think about it.

Theres a thin line between love and hate, so maybe right now you are bouncing between the 2. Im dealing with the same thing... do I love or do i hate this chick? Perhaps to hate is because you love? Stick in there... only time will tell.
