hehe, exactly, if I've learned anything through my short time on earth, and especially through high school, the best way to get out of something is DENY DENY DENY, they usually don't have any sufficient evidence anyway.. (I have an odd feeling this thread might be moved to the corner )

I can't understand why anyone would feel bad for Kobe.

He's definitely smart enough to know how the game is played, and I'm not talking about basketball!

We've all seen this same scenario so many times with other millionaire athletes, it's ridiculous.

He rolled the dice, and he lost. The fact that he is married, and was having sex with another woman is what is making him look so bad.

He was, is, and will remain a multi-millionaire star. If his reputation is permanently tarnished, and he loses endorsement money, then it is his own damn fault.

I still love him as an athlete, but I no longer respect him as a person.

We all have to live with our mistakes.

-Pete

ya, he's no rolemodel anymore, but I don't think he committed rape, everything just doesn't add up.... We do all have to live with our mistakes, but I think sometimes we put athletes or celebrities on a pedestal, but in all actuality they are just like us, and they are just human capable of making a mistake.. any personal issues shouldn't have even been discussed through the media..

At my old school, I just got a late slip, which records the student as "Late", but then never went to class, it was beautiful... only did it a couple times though, school is important!!

I dunno...he was charged with rape, not as if his wife walked in on him or something....someone being charged with rape is regularly reported in the media, albeit not to this extent...

not like I really care that much watching basketball is boring : /

ya, I meant if he wasn't accused of rape, none of the media has a right to know if he is having marital problems.. it just so happened that he had to say he committed adultery because of the circumstances..

hmm

what I did was....one of my teachers on all those days made a mistake and marked me present while the other 3 marked me as absent....

soooo... i went to my 4th period (1and2 were absent 3rd said present on all the days...3/7 whatever) teacher and said "hey i came in late these days, 3rd is my algebra ap class no way that teacher would make mistake (actually as health class ). the teacher conceeded they may have made a mistake and filled out form to say I was actually there. After this went to 1st period who was cool teacher and just flat out told hiim what happen and he agreeded to help me out (i would have to take horrible horrible finals if I didnt get these absences cleared). Now all thats left was 2nd period and when he saw I was there for the other 3 agreed that I probably was there (they do checked for 2nd and 3rd becuase those are lunch periods so if only absent for one of them get written up).

Repeated this for the days I was absent but one of my teachers had made mistake....and THATS why I was only absent 3 times instead of 6

no summer school for me
