A little off the subject but if anyone knows the comedian Kevin James, he does a really good skit on this exact thing

 

how about when they ask for your information and when you give it to them, they say "hold on, lemme get a pen"

 

I get 40 phone messages from sales reps every day from 6 different markets, so i don't even bother with the idiots that don't make it easy on me.

I also get:

"Hi it's Jen, call me back." - I know 8 Jennifers, which one should i call.
"Hey, it's me." - Unless you're my wife, leave your full name and where you are from.

 

same here...and this coming from a guy who talks fast but that is just business etiquette
