Kekoa,

In my culture, you better f*cking ask your parents before even considering that idea. Your parents gave you your life.
This comment made my day. 'Hey Mom and Dad, do you mind if I commit suicide?'

Okay d.h. I don't wanna argue w/ you anymore man. I agree that if you are an adult with others depending on you (kids, wife, etc...) then it is somewhat selfish and wrong to take your own life. But if I am an adult, it is my life to live or take.

Let me share a personal experience with you. I have a good friend whose wife was raped, stabbed, murdered, and then burnt by some **** in another country. They were only married for a few years too. Each were young, only 27. He has tried to take his life countless times. Not with a nife or gun, but by riding his bike and driving balls out. Are you telling me its actually WRONG and SELFISH for my friend to take his life. I don't think so. I could not fathom living with such pain for the rest of my life. I'd rather be with my wife in heaven. Yes, I'd be leaving family, freinds, etc. here, but again, its my choice.

No need to respond man. I'm done here.

Suicide = Stupidity

That is unless you're terminally ill and basically stuck with miserable pain that will ruin your spirit, even then its the easier way to deal with things. Better to be brave and fight for your last breath.

Man, something stinks in here...oh wait, sorry, I forgot.....Kekoa is full of sh*t.

In this world, good things happen. Unfortunately, so does bad things. I can't tell you that they don't happen. I can't tell you that bad thing happen only to people who deserve it. It happens to good people, too. Yes, what happen to your friend is tragic.......and called me lame, but I'm sure his wife wouldn't want to see him that way. And you know what..., I believed in the term, "What goes around, Comes around ". The people who committed the crime will get what they deserved down the road?

And for your friend, he should find that courage and live on. Maybe he will find that someone special again later down the road who wants to share his life with. You never know. That, I can tell you that it happens. He will obviously not find that someone if he end his life, would he.

And in return, let me tell you a story, I have a really good friend who discovered that he had a brain tumor. He was only 18. He was telling me that it wasn't fair and he had a whole future in front of him. A week later, he shot himself in the head. He didn't considered anyone's feeling. His big family, his future and his close friends, including me. I didn't know wheather I was sad or pissed off. He didn't even give it time or find the courage to fight it. Win or Lose, if he fought, I would be envy to have a friend like that. And for yourself, if you think that your friend is doing the right thing, let alone get upset(sure, something happen to my friend, oh well, just let him die), then I don't know what your meaning of a "good friend" is.

And one thing. Please do not take my sentence and bend the meaning. This is not a English major forum. I am sure you know what I am trying to say.

P.S. You don't have to reply, that's all I'm gonna say to you, too.

the bottom line is that you 2 are right and wrong at the same time. it is the reason why suicide is a controversial topic.

Way to go off topic, guys.

I think it's terribly sad regardless of her wealth, power, weak spirit, or anything else. We don't know, so we can't assume.

I just feel sorry that she left herself for her loved bf to find her... That would be hell IMO.

RIP.

I agree with everyone who's said that there are solutions to just about any problem. But suicide isn't about solutions. It's about feelings and hope. You can fix most external situations but what's internal isn't as easily repaired.

In my book, it takes a lot of courage to end one's own life. There isn't anything that seems scarier than opening the door to the great unknown of death and willingly walking through.

I can't tell you how much I'd love to believe this, that there are reasons for everything that happens, and that karma really exists. But it's nothing more than idealistic hopes to me. I hope I'm wrong but the bullshit that happens all the time makes it hard for me to believe that I am.
