IMO ... NY, SF, LA, Chicago and someother city. Miami? Boston? Houston? I dunno, they can debate it out in another thread

When I voted it was 29 (SF) vs 25 (Chicago).

I'm 5 min away from DC and I want to go to California.
I visited Chicago couple of times, but it wasn't my thing. Night life was similar to the DC night life.
I just want to go to the Warm Sunny California. And I heard SF is one of the prettiest places in Cali. Never been, I wish I could.

How are you going to officially rank something that is subjective? Even if you try to get scientific by awarding points for certain things, there will always be the debate of how much value to apply to what.

Like I said, they're actually pretty equal when it comes to most things, but SF holds the trump card .... weather. The diversity in the surrounding areas help it pull away as well.

I've lived in both places. Grew up in S.F. but had to go to Chicago for a couple years for school. The conclusion I've drawn is that Chicago would be an awesome place to visit and have a good time, but not a place where I would want to live again. IMHO there is no place like California.
