Since you don't let the wife drive anything besides the SUV and your kids probably aren't tall enough to reach the pedals yet. I voted for you, but then again 25mph probably isn't fast enough to satisfy your need for speed.

I (i mean..the kids) will drive it in the empty lots in our neighborhood, and across the street behind the houses is a huge (300+ acres)field... eventually they are going to put office buildings in the field, but hopefully not for at least 2-3 years

Nice looking kart there. I would start out with a Mugen exhaust and a four wheel independent suspension system . Ahh this topic brings back the memories of seeing what would happen if we hooked up NO2 to the kart, needless to say the piston was never found LOL!
