actually, your comment is pretty interesting...before, i used to think that the US had a drinking issue in general because of the "don't touch before 21" attitude like you mentioned. but hearing that about students in the UK...i can totally believe that they have a worse reputation than US students. i partied w/some brits in barcelona, and they were taking down drinks like nothing. they (girls) were the first ones to start drinking. even when we got back, another brit (girl) walks in with a 6pack and is drinking the whole thing by herself. at like 6am. that is hardcore.

i'm starting to think that it's not the age limit/culture thing, but that it has to do with disposable income. i work in an industry where we work w/associates worldwide...and from what i hear, the japanese drink like crazy. my roommate drinks a crapload and i think he had somewhat of a rough time trying to keep up, haha. hmm...

I studied there and worked there, did more working than studying depending up on the month.

Long story short was meant to move back upon graduation but didn't, aiming to make the jump for good within the next few years.



oh, never been to barca, been to valencia and madrid though - loved valencia, wasn't keen on madrid.
