I've been running Seti@home on my computer an and off for a couple of years now. I just set up a new group there for the s2ki crowd. It's called S2000 International. If you do the Seti thing go ahead and join the group.

 

Cool. I've been running it for years. Can you believe I began running Seti@home around Aug 1999, and I've only completed 22 data units? My PCs are somewhat slow.

I'll join the group if I can.

EDIT: You must be running some monster hardware if you're completing data units in 15.5 hours! Are you a sysadmin or something?

 

No, my home computer is running Linux and I run the client with no GUI. It runs about 10 times faster than the Windows client on the same hardware. The 15 hours is averaged with some Windows results from my slow laptop.
