Default Shipping S2K Across the Country

Hi,

Does anyone know how much it is to ship the car across the country, from Boston to Los Angeles, for example? $800 - $1,000?

Thanks,

/Rog

It's usually based on mileage, and that's a pretty high mileage trip. You might be able to get that kind of pricing on an open truck (how most new cars are shipped anyway...)

Open your local yellow pages to "auto transporters"... should be many listings, most of which can quote over the phone.

I think I paid $800 for covered transport (Waggoners) from Georgia to Colorado, not on the S2000 however.

Contact Bob Sellers at Intercity Lines, tell him I sent you. Not saying that will get you a better deal, but maybe ya'll could tell some jokes about me...

Seriously, give him a call, Intercity Lines is an S2KCA sponsor. He's been very good to us...

I would bet that cross country, you may be looking at around two grand. Maybe a little less...
