Cool

To think I had to scroll SO FAR just to get to someone else that had a sony bravia XBR series. I was beginning to think I was the only 1 with one. Mine, however is an XBR4.

Definitely not bragging here, but if the wife is willing to spend the money to let me get it...I GOTTA praise it right?

Yep, XBR = win. I love the frame design and the picture is good to boot.

is that subwoofer amplified?
I'm not sure what one you're asking about but they both are...

The Cerwin Vega SUB-150 = 250 watts
Definitive Technology PF15TL = 325 watts

My setup is finally complete. All that wiring through the walls took an installer about 10 hours total, including retexturing two walls, but to show for it I have virtually no visible wires with wall mounted equipment around a corner (that took a lot of holes cut into my brand new walls).

In total I added 8 power outlets (2 line conditioned), 3 HDMI, 1 RCA, and one 3.5mm audio jack for the subwoofer voltage trigger to the sound bar. The TV is mounted above a gas fireplace which I can still turn on while watching TV.

Equipment list:

Samsung LNT5271F 52" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV
Marantz ES7001 Soundbar
Marantz SW7001 Subwoofer
Sony Playstation 3
Tivo Series 3 HD THX DVR
Nintendo Wii

Wires, HDMI plates, and HDMI repeaters: monoprice.com
Omnimount ULPT-L LCD bracket
Omnimount MWF8 wall mounted glass shelves
