I have a friend with a few chihuahuas and one morning he let them out in the yard to take care of their business and saw a huge hawk sitting up in a tree eyeing his dogs. He got them in the house pretty quick after that. Wild animals don't see pets as anything other than a potential meal.

Yea, the python did nothing crazy. We python went python. It saw prey, and ate it. Nothing out of the ordinary. Dumb owners. Just like that tiger that killed those guys at the zoo. That's what you get for pissing off a tiger. They shot BBs at the tiger, and wonder why the tiger ripped them to shreds.
