Default So Is LCD Better Than Plasma?

My friend is bugging the hell out of me! He keeps going at telling me that LCD is a better picture than plasma! Am I wrong or IS HE WRONG!???

I am not sure there is a wrong or right answer (just what you were looking for). It would depend on room conditions, e.g., ambient light, reflected light, angle of view, that all determine what will give you the best picture. Also the manufacturers have a number of variations on quality and contrast.

I'd check all three at a store that actually has them properly calibrated. Costco, Fry's and Best Buy usually don't have them properly calibrated . . .
