Sony PSP: Are you getting one?
I remember when PS2 originally went on sale in October 2000. I waited on line at Bestbuy and bought one for face value ($299). I had several friends/co-workers who I was out of my mind, until they couldn't find one around the holidays (a few actually paid well in excess of face value via Ebay).
That said, I don't anticipate the same frenzy for the PSP. IMO, I think the price along with the exisiting Gameboy only and Console only fans will limit the overall demand. That said, Sony's production volume will ultimately set the supply/demand curve.

Finally, more games I can play on my JPN PSP!

The local Metreon had a line at midnight but low and behold, even my local Circuit City next door to where I work had a ton of them in stock on a first-come-first-served basis. Personally I can't be bothered to try and flip it for a measley couple of bucks.... okay, I had one on order from Costco for $247 (shipped yesterday) that I got as a backup that I'll probably sell off.

YOU do realize that the best buy thingy is not going to last long. and best buy doesnt ship the item right away. and theres no guarantee that your psp is going to include the spider man 2 movie along with it.

Of course that was ordered before I even knew I'd be able to get a Japanese Value Pack for only $225.
