I have the 34" VAY-guh

and I like it too, especially the split screen feature.

I have a 27" in. Vega and as with most Sony Trinitron TV's it makes that hideous "tunk" noise when turning it on after it has been off for a while (it also dims the lights for a split sec). What the heck is that?

If you actually have one of the TV's in question open your Owners Manual to the index and look for Wega Described.........
It is NOT under the V's It is the first listing under the W's.....
And on the website they use W's through out. No need to use W's unless they just wanted tp
(They could have a font that used the v and shadow v made). It's Way Guh.
