As usual, the Mooney paper is just a little late to the party. Unless it has to do w/ ripping the Democratic Party a new a-hole, their metro dept. is woefully slow reporting the news.

I defy anyone to drive the speed limit on DC's "streets." DC can't even provide safe drinking water to it residents, let alone pave streets.

Actually, of late it has been more a problem of utility companies ripping up the streets to lay fiber optic & copper cable and then doing a horrible job patching it back up.

Of course, I do know a couple of potholes that have been around for a few years.

The railroad ties are temporary. It's so the water main construction crews can work every night and get out of the way during the day.

The worst road I've seen would be Taipei Taiwan ...... Imprezza owners (the real J-Spec) in Taiwan thinks its not a biggie to them.
