Should I post a link to what we do in America? Don't think we (I use the term generally) are above doing the very same thing in some circumstances. Ever see chickens being transported? They're packed in, ten to a cage, where only two would normally fit comfortably. There are some pretty rugged scenes when they slaughter cows and pigs, too, depending on where you go.

 

there was a thread on crsx a while back about the cruelty that one of the farms in the south showed to its animals...that was pretty brutal. They even got the name and address of the place as wells the individuals shown in the video and they went after them...

 

I can't stomach watching the video after reading the description. I am ashamed to be in the same nationality as those fockers There are a lot more humane ways to pelt the animals' fur but they take the quickest and easiest way at the animals' expense.

 

I was watching this waiting for my next class in front of my lecture hall and I almost yakked what I ate like 15 minutes ago, let alone trying to keep the tears back. I didn't know I was this sensitive, needed to do something manly just now. But this shit is beyond f**ked up. One can argue it is cultural/societal difference but torturing an animal is just wrong. If they're going to eat the damn thing, kill the animal humanely (if that's possible) without causing the animal pain. F**k this shit, now I'm in a bad mood sitting in my communication class.

 

It's no surprised some people are just that sick. You see what they do to HUMANS in China, people who are Falun Gong practioners. There was a really graphic blog about human slaughterings that went around facebook.

 

Oh come on.

Maybe we need a video of someone lying in bed dying from rabies because they were attacked by a stray dog, one of thousands that roam Chinese cities. People practically live with these strays, and for some reason, the year 1918 comes to mind... not sure why, though.

I'm guessing no one here would complain if the video showed dogs being euthanized with yummy, warm barbiturates.


In the meantime, boycott furs or dog meat or whatever.
