Exactly as said, some random places such as Starbucks, check out lines in various stores etc...

Seems more than usual lately people are not respecting the personal space laws, I had a situation where i snapped and threw a guy on the floor for this!!

It happened at a starbucks on a saturday morning, it was busy and ofcourse alittle tight for space, but the guy was so close he was making contact with me and even a time or two felt like he pushed his unit onto my leg, and the first say 15 times, i inched foreward and ignored him... but he continued to get uncomfortable close and make body to body contact with me. After this I asked him afew times to keep some reasonable space between us because this "closeness" is making me very uncomfortable. He gave me a cocky smile and inched into me again when i inched away, this is where i snapped. I threw him into a wall and he hit it with such force he then fell to the ground, so he then looks up and threatens to kick my ass now , and I told him he wont get up a second time if he tries it, the man then leaves the store and disappears. Surrounding people said i was maybe alittle hostile but within reason to do what I did, who knows, the guy could have had a weapon. No police were called, and as far as im concerned it was self defense, thats legally assault what he was doing.

Anyone else ever come across some shit like this?
He put his unit on you? I would have clocked that perv right in jaw.

Happens all the time at movie theaters. Some 15 yr old hump on power drinks spazzing out. I back into them. You need to be careful its not some tweaker or a LEO.

BTW the dude looked like Biff from back to the future and was several inches taller than me, ok fine, i got a slight napoleon complex from the mammoth bastard, but he got owned in the end. I never ever really get into situations, but I tried many times to deescalate the situation before I resulted to the outcome of the deal.

how could he be several inches taller than you and touch his unit to your leg? wouldn't it be touching... your upper butt, or something?

or do you have freakishly long legs and a short torso? maybe that's why he was humping on you... long legs are a turn on!

You guys crack me up.

I've never had that happen to me yet. I would definitely get ticked in a hurry, though - I really don't like strangers touching me.

That's assault and battery, and there's a room full of witnesses. You're damn lucky he didn't call the cops and a personal injury lawyer.

Not to rain on your parade but you did get lucky. If that was done to me I would have you in court. You can't go pushing people for being too close, there is no law about it and you are in a public place.

On topic. I feel the same way about people getting too close. I have found that a polite "Sorry, but I feel uncomfortable with you this close. Could you refrain from stepping on me please" works well.
