Not to rain on your parade but you did get lucky. If that was done to me I would have you in court. You can't go pushing people for being too close, there is no law about it and you are in a public place.

On topic. I feel the same way about people getting too close. I have found that a polite "Sorry, but I feel uncomfortable with you this close. Could you refrain from stepping on me please" works well.
I did ask 3 or 4 times very calmly and politely for the dude to give me alittle space and was snuffed off each time, like i said, it was an act of self defense since he was touching me against my will and thats battery, so technically he struck first.

I hate people who stand too close in line, even my friend does that to me and it pisses me off.

Unfortunately, lots of people nowadays don't respect one another. The issue is not standing close...it's respecting the other person's space.

Something a tad similar perhaps is whenever I'm at the grocery store or any store for that matter and the person behind me begins to use MY SPACE for their items and perhaps their pocket book, etc... Usually a good stare at 'em gives them the message of "BACK UP."

Drives me crazy...lots of folks are disrespectful and impatient.

Good for you man...I don't think I'd have the balls to just push someone to the wall.

how could he be several inches taller than you and touch his unit to your leg? wouldn't it be touching... your upper butt, or something?

or do you have freakishly long legs and a short torso? maybe that's why he was humping on you... long legs are a turn on!
co-sign. somebody ain't telling the truth.

I was in Vegas for New Years, went to go take a leak and the can was packed. Some Metro was standing in line behind me but way too close to me. So I ripped a loud smelly fart, he backed off then. I zipped up and told him since I'm in a good mood I wasn't going to shove his head in the wall for standing so close. It helps to be a big guy, little guys don't bother you as much. My brother was laughing so hard he couldn't breathe. Freaking gheys need their own bathrooms.

That's assault and battery, and there's a room full of witnesses. You're damn lucky he didn't call the cops and a personal injury lawyer.
I think you overreacted. You could have dealt with it in a more humane manner. How about raising you voice a bit and saying to him - "Will you please back up a little. You are making me uncomfortable!"

While I agree that he shouldn't have thrown the guy, he did ask him to stop touching and crowding him a number of times.

How many times is enough? If some guy was pushing his package against my rump, I think once would be more than enough...
