Ohh I hate when people disturb my personal space. Even when you are nice and try to give them signs that they are too close they continue to do it.

I guess thats why i hate clubbing.. the idea of a bunch of smelly ass people rubbing up against me.. /gag/

I actually had to leave a club once because it was way too packed and i just felt uncomfortable..

I'm weird I KNOW!

Try going to other countries where personal space doesn't exist and people don't wear deoderant. That was my nightmare.

Try riding the NYC subway during rush hour. But I must agree, some people just don't know how close they're really standing to one another when waiting on line. I often step to the side of the line if the person behind me gets too close.

It doesn't bother me if there's no personal space to be had i.e. crowded bus, subway, etc. However, I do get annoyed when people stand too close when there's no reason to do so.

Try riding the NYC subway during rush hour... in the summer. Gotta love the wifebeater-wearing mofos with their pits in your face.

I think you overreacted. You could have dealt with it in a more humane manner. How about raising you voice a bit and saying to him - "Will you please back up a little. You are making me uncomfortable!"
Humane? It's not like he tortured the dude.
