Sad indeed. It's too bad to lose someone who showed so much enthusiasm for what he did. RIP.

RIP Steve Irwin. My dad loved watching his show despite not knowing english. And I watched much of his shows as well. His love for courage and love for nature is unmatched.

I'm reminded of a few phrases...

"If you play with the bull, sooner or later you'll get the horns."

"Every man dies, not every man really lives."

This is a really sad moment for me, I really enjoyed watching Steve, but always had a sense that he pushed the limit a little too much, and wondered when he might meet his fate because of it.

He will be missed.

"There are old pilots and bold pilots, but no old bold pilots."

At least he died quick doing what he loved best. May we all go the same way. For me...just want it to be two chicks at the same time on my 100th birthday.

I guess something like this was bound to happen sooner or later, but I liked the guy.

Rest in peace, my sympathies to his family. The radio report this morning said his wife was doing some expeditiona in Tazmania and had not been informed yet. Very sad.

SO SAD

RIP

I've watched this guy for quite a few years. He was so genuine, I have never seen anyone with such a passion to educate others as well as preserve the wildlife.

My sis got stung by a stingray in florida when she stepped on it, right above the ankle, and it was just a nasty wound... I can't imagine how this one killed him?! Through the heart?

Sting rays: Misuderstood sea creatures or stealthy killers?
