it's amazing what living on my own has taught me about drinking i just don't feel like spending the money on it anymore. if i do i buy a 12 pack for $11 and go hang out a friends house and play drinking games i agree with a few of you, in just having a few over dinner, etc and not even really getting a buzz, just loooooose

it's like most things....it becomes an acquired taste (i mean that literally).

i actually like the taste of scotch....i drink it everyday.....most of it in social settings, but otherwise a few drinks after work with the wife (wine for her).

is it unhealthy - yes. does it make me out of control - no.

last time i was piss-drunk was at my stag, 12 years ago (through no fault of my own ).

i don't drink to get drunk, i just prefer alcohol over non-alcoholic beverages.

 

I've only been so drunk that i don't remember the night only once.I think social drinking is ok as long as you don't get "drunk" when out at bars,clubs,etc..

 

I never started drinking at all. I figured if I drank alcohol the way I eat chocolate or drink Diet Coke, I'd have been dead a long time ago.

It's fun watching people get drunk and then asking them what they remember the next day.

 

getting drunk and high is great fun makes a boring and mundane life less uninteresting.

if all the anti-drug propaganda were to be believed, i'd have been dead 10 years ago

 

was in a state of THC and ethanol induced delirium from 2 PM - 5 AM last Saturday

i agree. hanging out with L7s is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. i can't understand how some live like that. but to each their own i guess. Getting smashed is fun because it makes chix hotter. and makes anxiety go away.

L7s are just too stiff and uptight. dont trust em.

my pregame before going out usually is drinking a forty (3 bux) and a tall can (1.5). after that u are ready to hit bars and clubs and have the most fun ever.

as for not remembering things... sometimes its better that u dont remember...

plus sometimes its fun waking up and not knowing where u are for 5 seconds.
