i agree. hanging out with L7s is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. i can't understand how some live like that. but to each their own i guess. Getting smashed is fun because it makes chix hotter. and makes anxiety go away.

L7s are just too stiff and uptight. dont trust em.

my pregame before going out usually is drinking a forty (3 bux) and a tall can (1.5). after that u are ready to hit bars and clubs and have the most fun ever.

as for not remembering things... sometimes its better that u dont remember...

plus sometimes its fun waking up and not knowing where u are for 5 seconds.
i'd go and get a knife to cut the sarcasm with ... but i'm too stoned to do it so i'll just sit on the couch and giggle

I've only had two drinks in my life.

Once was a taste of Tia Maria (my step mom let me try it). Tasted pretty good...

Second time was after a flight home from visiting my wife (gf at the time). I got caught in Chicago in a snow storm for eight hours and landed in Toronto at about 2:30 am. I had to be back at the airport by 5:30am to catch the next flight, so I just stayed in the airport. I ordered a cappucino from a stand there. I was dog tired - I couldn't see straight, much less hold a coherent conversation. The guy asked me if I wanted "aslkjag" in my cappucino. I assumed it was a shot of caffeine or whipped cream or something, so I nodded.

I nearly died when I took a sip of that cappucino. The guy had put whisky in it. Between the physical heat and the alcohol rush, my mouth/throat were on fire.

And that's my story about my drinking.

Honestly, I can't stand the smell of beer so I can't imagine it tasting good. Some liquors smell okay but really the only thing that's even remotely tempting to me is something like a margarita (because they just LOOK good). Never had one, probably never will, but they do look pretty tasty.

I had a virgin strawberry daquiri a few times when I was in my late teens.

i really don't feel like i can unwind unless i've had a few drinks. sad? maybe, but it's true. my favorite thing to do on friday night is buy 4 bottles of cheap pink champagne (2 for me, 2 for my "pink cham partner" kadee) and get trashed and go party hopping / mob around town. say what you want, but we always have tons of fun, and meet all kinds of people. at this point it hasn't gottten us into any serious trouble. i know where my limits are and when too much is too much. i'm 20 years old. i know i won't be like this when i'm 40... i'm living it up while it's still appropriate.

the way i see it is i'm a natural party girl... if i don't get all the frat parties, beer bongs, ecstasy trips, raves, keg stands, dirty dancing, bar hopping, etc., out of my system now, i might have the urge to do it when i have kids, or after i'm married. i won't be able to, then i'll feel tied down like i'm missing something, and then i might resent my life/husband/kids.

i really don't see why it's an issue, honestly. maybe cause i live in a college town and nearly all of my friends drink. it's seriously strange to me when i meet someone my age and they tell me they don't drink. i just assume they're mormon or something. but like i said, it's eugene, home of the ducks... the football team with the rowdiest/loudest fans in the Pac-10.

i 'spose it would get expensive... but that's why you buy a case of pabst / milwaukee's best and play beer pong at a friend's house... or cheap pink champagne. the cheap stuff sometimes does it better anyway.

Me and buddy tried to out drink some Canadians at a bar in Vancouver a few years ago when we took a weekend trip up there. Needless to say, it made our 3 day trip feel like 1.5 days (because we were in the room the whole next day )...

In that case, why don't you include heroin, LSD, acid, meth, coke, K, PCP, and 5-meo-dipt?!?

I believe as you get older you have a greater chance of regretting TAKING these substances (including MDMA), than regretting that you didn't...

Nothing wrong with having some beers on the weekend with your college buddies, I do it all the time. But being young doesn't give you the excuse to mutilate your mind/body because you "won't have time" later.

Thank about it
oh my... that's a whole other can of worms, isn't it? do a little research and then come back and tell me that MDMA is just as harmful as heroin. it's silly to argue about, because when it comes down to it, a drug is a drug, and they're all bad for you... i'll give you that. but you really can't equate something as destructive and chemically addictive as heroin with something like ecstasy. you just don't get addicted to ecstasy... and really, it was developed as an anti-depressant that doctors prescribed to people. but all drugs are bad. so you win. can of worms shall remain closed.

as far as the "quick fix." i don't see it that way... i actually prefer cheaper stuff to expensive stuff not just because of the price, but because i actually think it tastes better sometimes. i'd rather drink coors light than some fancy pants dark micro-brew for example. and i'm not a big fan of hard alcohol so i can't seem to justify buying patron. my friends do though... the ones that don't work and live off school loans. if only fafsa knew how much of their money goes towards patron for college students.
