OK, I'll try to be as brief as possible on this. The Mrs. & I are having a disagreement. We only have a 2 car garage, but we have 3 vehicles. For the past 6 months, the Honda & my truck have been in the garage(we agreed that the newer vehicles went in the garage). Well, its been getting rather nippy here in Kansas City(KC), & she has been going out to a cold truck w/frost on her windows. She refuses to get up an extra 5 min early to scrape her windows, & wants to put her truck in the garage now....meaning mine goes outside. Logic dictates that the newer vehicles be inside(her truck is 3 years older & 40k more miles on it)....I have even decided to store the Honda at one of those storage places for $120/month, for 4 months while the weather is bad. Am I being hard headed?

If you were any kind of gentleman... this would be a no brainer.

Well you do have another option here.

YOU could get up 5 minutes earlier and scrape the ice for her....

I wouldn't like to try and run your argument with MY wife thats for sure!!!

There used to be things called "in-car heaters". Find one of these and leave the truck outside. No more ice scraping.

I have 4 garages ... So I can't answer that. But hell, park the cheapest one outside ... That's the theory anyway.

We have a three car garage with 4 cars parked in it. Go figure. That means I have to drop my passengers off on the driveway before driving in. They hate that, but it means no ice scraping for everyone.
I don't think either of you are being hard headed. It makes perfect sense to store the newer (more valuable in some cases) vehicles inside. If the money isn't a problem, I'd store the S somewhere else.

Oh..and better yet..why not get a car cover for her vehicle. A cheap one from an automotive store should suffice in keeping the ice and snow off the windows. In some cases, you can get plastic sheets designed specifically preventing the formation of ice on car windows.
Hmm..didn't think of that earlier.
