I used to have sleep paralasis all the time in middle school. I also had some instances where id be half consious and start to float around the room and I would navigate throughout the house (that freaked me out the most). I also remember seeing a room in my half sleep state and flew around (almost like a bug) just to find out 6 months later that the room was my cousins room in japan. They had just moved into the house when i had that dream. The strange part is it only happened once.

I also had a bizzare dream where i was falling head down a huge tunnel. Inside the tunnel was this huge ring of light that i was heading towards. I remember my ears would start to ring really loud when the ring got closer. This happened for about a week. I stopped having the dream when i urged some courage up and went through the ring of light. I woke up with a sore neck and covered in sweat.

all those weird dreams only occured during puberty.. now i dream about everyday life.

i kinda miss them weird dreams.

I have "sleep paralysis" from time to time....it's been a few weeks since the last time I can remember.

On the other hand....I have those annoying dreams about falling down stairs, or off of a bike, or falling off a building all the time. It gets old fast.

And my other problem.

Sleep walking and Talking in my sleep. I do this once a month at least.

I have four or five really good stories, but I don't remember the experience first hand.....I have to have someone else tell me about what I did or said.

On a positive note I have yet to wake up outside, but when I do it's gonna suck.

I did a little research on Lucid Dreaming, but don't think I'd like the conscious paralysis that often goes along with it.

[QUOTE=RL7,Sep 7 2005, 10:42 AM] Thats something different from what I am refering to.

Sleep paralysis happen because your mind think you are dreaming, it puts a hold on itself, its a mechanism for preventing you actually move according to the dream. But your mind is actually awake, so you can

Nothing that does not have substance can "leave" or "return", it's the same foolishness as when people say that when they die they'll "go" to Heaven. I always ask them which part will "go", they of course say it's their "soul", to which I reply, how does your soul "go" if it has no perceptible substance?

Blank stare, always.

Same here.
About twice a week I have dreams where I know I am dreaming and I can do what ever I want.
