Default Stupid people that have jobs

I went to the packaging store today to ship a poster to a client we work with. I packed the contents in a tube just like the one pictured below. As with any Fedex package, the measurements must be entered into the computer.

They measure length, height, depth. This genius of a woman that was helping me measures the length at 25", then measure the "height" of the tube at 4 inches. She then blows my mind by rolling the tube over and measuring again saying that the width is 5".

Somehow the tube is 4" high and 5" deep. LOL. I just smiled and was thinking "I can't wait to make fun of you online"

You should have told her to measure the length on the 5" side too.

Maybe the diameter was 4.5", and she decided to split the difference to maintain whole numbers.

I was getting on a tour boat on Kauai last month and the 18 year old(yes she was blond) behind the counter asks me where I am from.

I say "Minneapolis." She has a blank stare.
I said, "Minnesota".
She asks "Is that a small town?"
"You mean Minnesota?"
"Yeah"
"Its a state with about five to six million people."
"Oh. I don't know where that is."

I know we are not the center of the universe or anything, but she does not know all of the 50 states?

She was recently beaten by a girl at Target who was supposed to give me $94 dollars change from a hundred dollar bill. She handed me seven twenties, a ten and four ones.

And yes, I gave her back the extra.

recently I went to get lunch. The amount came out to $6.15. I gave her $7.15. She looked puzzled at the amount and gave me back the 15 cents, saying "$7 is enough money". Then she proceeded to give me my change of 85 cents.

A five and 2 ones and 15 cents?

Why not just keep one of the ones and give here the 6.15?
