Those times are awesome for LS....I'm imagining that these guys don't need to slow down as much through the Laguna Seca "S" and the following turns.....low center of gravity, short wheel base, short braking distances = close to full throttle through the "S".
Watching those guys go from the stands is amazing too...they are really flying!!!! Especially in traffic at T2, they would be zigzagging around cars and working their way thru the pack at amazing speeds.
It turns out that because of the longer wheelbase on the superkarts for highspeed stability they do need to slow down a bit for the tight turns but the low weight keeps them from needing to slow too much and the hp/weight lets them haul ass on exit!

Gaaaawwwddd dangit....I couldn't, for the life of me, think of that word!!!!!!!! It was on the tip of my tongue but I couldn't spit it out. I spent the better half of an hour just searching through a thesauraus trying to find a synonym for "S curve".
