switching to DSL?
I had PacBell in the house I just sold. IT SUCKED!!!
Nothing but downtime and everytime I called them they told me it's probably user error. WTF???
Now I have Cable. Cheaper than DSL. Plus with PB I was getting between 384-768k down. Now my average is about 1600k down and fastest test was over 1900k down.
I have a Netgear wireless router.

No, @home is still around till Feb. They got some financing from Comcast and Cox to last that long. You'll probably be getting your privder switched around the Feb. timeframe.
