drop both those bands and listen to radiohead. you'll thank me later,

i do like both bands, SOAD is good, its heavier obviously, and coldplay is more calm.. its comparing apples and oranges,

Coldplay for me anyday.

Goofy noises and screaming isn't music to me. I can't get into SOAD. Now Tool on the other hand RULES.

TOOL is talented as hell and Dan Carry (drummer) is one of the best.

Both bands have some decent songs. I used to like SOD alot more until they turned their music into political expression. American-based bands who bad mouth their country ....espescially rag-heads like SOD.
So do you agree with everything this country does???

danny is on a whole 'nother level as far as composing his rhythms. their new album has simply blown me away!!!

another amazing band that not everyone likes is The Mars Volta

and i also agree on the radiohead nods

He maybe good but I don't think anybody beats Travis from Blink 182. The music is not everyone's cup of tee but that dude is wicked with drumsticks.

Darron Malakian, SoaD's lead guitarist, is the man. It's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it band, but they possess immense talent and creativity.

And they make all their albums with the Master, Rick Rubin.
