Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Talk some sense into me...

good luck with pulling the thing outta the water on a wet ramp with the S.
I guess it depends on what kind you get though, sit down or stand up.
Mine was a kawasaki ultra 150 9' 2 seater, i think it weighed 650lbs.
So if you get a stand up i think a S should be able to tow that well.

I sold my ski two weeks ago cause i have nothing to tow it with anymore.
I used to tow it with my audi tt quattro 225 and it had a few rough moments up boat ramps and it had ALOT more torque down low than the S (and AWD).

What area of the country do you live in? I live in the PNW and was lucky to take mine out 5 times a year, so it was not super feasable.
If you live in an area that you could ride all the time i most certainly would have kept mine, what a blast.

I'm on my third Seadoo, all have been XP's for best performance (turns etc not speed) My current ride is a 2003 XP-DI and I love it. I'm about 50 minutes from a lake so use it as much as possible. I loved the one time I tracked the S, but that was a lot of wear on it. I can ride like a wild man on the Seadoo, and not feel like I'm beating up my machine. You would love the jeteski, I'm sure.

I'm actually thinking of trading my S off for a newer but cheaper car so I can buy a Ninja ZX-6R.
