Talk in your Sleep?
Ok yeah i've done that. The math teacher would call on me and i'd be asleep but i'd hear her but i'd still be asleep in a way. I'd have to do something to wake myself up to answer her.

anyone ever experience sleep paralysis? like when you feel awake, and you know whats around you, but you cant move or do anything? i experience it all the time when i'm in class... with some boring a$$ teacher...
I seriously thought someone was holding me down. I knew who was where...I heard all of their voices. I was starting to get REALLY pissed off. I think that's what woke me up.
I just put my head back down and made sure not to go back to sleep.
yea... it happened to me a couple of times... never in math class tho... always in like english class... since its the last period of the day, if not then i had it after like P.E. coz i spend mad amounts of energy... specially when we lift weights... i miss those days... i dont think i have room for sleeping in class in college ^.^
yeah, i asked my science teacher about the whole sleep paralysis thing. and its a natrual occurence. From what i remember, you are in a certain stage of sleep but your brain semi awakens. But since you are still asleep, you cant move. Something like that. i have to look it up again.
I hate it when your in that stage of sleep to where your about to hit REM but something or someone wakes u up and you have to start all over again. So I hear REM usually doesnt start til 45 minutes after you fall asleep. Time must fly when you fall asleep because it always seems like I start having REM as soon as I am out.
*REM - Rapid Eye Movement - REM sleep is a sleep state in which there is repetitive phasic activation of brainstem reticulo-motor systems.
Usually means in which you start having dreams, WHICH we usually dream 4-6 times a night. REM periods vary in length from 5 to 10 minutes for the first REM period of the night to as long as 30-34 minutes later in the night. It thus seems likely that dreams can be a half hour or more in length. But unfortunately we have moments where we have REM sleep without dreaming..::sighs:: sucks not to dream...if you have no recall of your dreams, it means you had no dreams, or dreamed very little.
MORE DREAMS!!!!!! These are funny and interesting.

REM stage of sleeping is the most important stage for your brain. This is the stage where everything resets its self and or recovers. If you keep someone from REM sleep, they will eventually go insane.
Most people would be amazed at how many dreams you have in a night.
I had a teacheer give us an asignment once.
Place a notebook by your bed and write down every dream you had, most of it was illegible, for a week. The problem is I kept waking up. I'd go to sleep and wake up write down a dream and think hours had past when only a few minutes came and went. Some of them were interesting. After a while you can get control of your dream state and fly at will, you can also make yourself wake up from a dream.
I've lost most of that over the years because well you don't get enough sleep doing it. Forcing myself to wake up is really hard now. I hate it. I keep having dreams that someone breaks into the house and I can't wake up. Then when a noise happens in real lie I spring out of bed an yell "What What huh?" Freaks my GF out then she starts laughing, which since I want to get back to sleep pisses me off. Although she like to talk in her sleep so to get her back I start having conversations with her until she 1/2 wakes up and tells me to shut up. She doesn't talk as much as she used to.

I'm sitting here at my computer looking for an s2000 to purchase, basically minding my own business. Its almost 8am in the morning, i haven't been to sleep yet because i'm pumped about maybe getting a 2nd s2000...(sold my first one so I could go to school). Well my friend is staying over here and what you have to know is he works for DirecTV as a Technical Service Representative. For those who dont know, directv is a satallite Tv company like dish network, ect ect. Well hes worked there for like 6 months and I know for a fact that when you work at these type of places you have scripts on your computer that basically tell you or explain what you should say/ask the customer in any situation. My friend for the past couple months, as for some of my other friends told me and for which I just experienced tonight, talks in his sleep. But the weird thing is, is what hes talking about in his sleep. When hes talking its like hes on the phone with a customer either selling someone a plan, upgrading there plan or fixing an issue with the satallite/signal from their tv crap. Tonight he was like "well for 5 dollars more a month you can get this added to your plan and if you want to go ahead and upgrade to more channels you can switch to this plan which will cost you 20 dollars and 50cents a month more" and ect ect. Do you know anyone else that does this? If you worked somewhere for 6 months or more where you read sometimes the SAME script to someone 10 times a day over and over everyday....its a possibility thats what your going to dream about and then sometimes enforce you to talk in your sleep? It didnt freak me out I just found it...interesting. Tell all or comment if u wish...
