i dreamed before i could fly. it felt so real and since it felt so real it pisst me off that i couldnt do it in real life.
That's crazy!!! I drempt about flying not even a week ago. It felt soooo real.. I was at a party, at night, and it was outside... It wasn't a cheesy "superman" flying dream... that's what made it feel so real. If I concentrated, like an insane amount, I could lift straight off my feet... hands out, sorta like David Blaine... but no higher than a two story house, before I came back down. Felt amazing..

I have a tendency to carry on coherent conversations in my sleep. I've been told I have these conversations with people, eyes open, sitting up, then not remember them *at all* later... because I was actually asleep the whole time..

When it comes to dreams, my fiancee takes the cake... she doesn't talk, but she dreams every night, and can recount each dream to the most minute detail. It's pretty interesting. Her mom can also; I guess it's genetic.

um i get scared when i have vivid dreams. the last time i had a really vivid dream, i dreamt about walking into a weirdly designed low ceiling two story house. everything was brown carpet or wood. the whole house was candle lit. most of the candles were in a stand that held a bowl, they were little candles that floated in oil i guess? and then there were a couple locked rooms, the masters and a guest room. and there was some sort of an office... and some weird bathroom for small people... it freaked me out when i woke up.

i have pretty vivid dreams, even the ones where you are flying, but most of the time id wake up from them after i flew into my floor I stopped having those types of dreams as much now, but I remember when I was about eight years old, to make myself goto bed, I would tell myself that in my dream I would say ABC123. Even at that age I had pretty good control over my sleep, sometimes Id have nightmares, but I knew that all I had to do is blink my eyes a bunch and Id be able to wake up, It works, trust me. Anyways, about a year ago I finally was dreaming and in my dream I guess I was peeing in the bathroom and I was just sitting there looking at the wall and i go OMG, ABC123! and then continued on with my dream, i got into a truck and was driving and such. But when I woke up I remember doing it, I havent yet decided what new thing I want to do in my dream now, But I am pretty interested in the whole dream thing.

This thread is hilarious!
Okay my contribution goes as follows....
Anyone ever have one of those " cheese and crackers" things with the lil red cheese speader? Well i used to love those as a kid. I mean LOVED. So there i was spreading the cheese on to the cracker, makeing it nice and perfect. All the while thinking " man this looks good.....". Go in for the bite, bite down, then i am awakened by the feeling of both my teeth clenched down just like i was really eating.
I look around, i have my hands out in front of me like there was a cracker in one and the red cheese spreader in the other.
First thought.... " DAmnit no cracker!" followed by " holy shit....there is no cracker....."
Man... that was a dissappointing night. I really wanted that cracker too.

BTW - anyone ever dream but they knew it was a dream so they went ahead and tried things in there dream because they knew it was just a dream. i have yet to do this.
if that would happen and you are in the right mind to know your dreaming you are coming out of your deep sleep and will wake up while your trying to do somethign different in your dreams

That i'm not sure. When I was in school i'd fall asleep all the time in geometry or english. But I dont know if I had that type of experience. I'd like sleep, my head would start falling and i'd do something to play it off if I thought it would be noticeable if someone saw me doin it...good times good times
