Tattoos...
So I've been thinking a lot about what people "regret" regarding tattoos lately. I already have four, but they are all easily covered and very meaningful. I know what I want next, as for the past five or six years I've wanted the exact same design. The dilemma is that it would be placed on my forearm, just above where a watch sits. However, given my career path it's doubtful I'll ever work somewhere without a shirt & tie to cover it anyway.
My question is this: disregard the "you'll change your mind about the design with age" argument- even take it to the extreme of having God come down and tell you that you'll be happy with the design when you're 80. Would you be willing to deal with the social stigma and inconvenience of covering such a tattoo for work? The actual design is VERY "acceptable" and would have no means of being looked down upon besides it "being a tattoo".
Thoughts?

Why limit your opportunities with a tatoo?
Pointless IMO.
They do however have tatoos that are no longer permanent.

Most colors (red mostly being the non-applicable one) can be taken off with laser treatments. People my age will almost certainly be able to remove art they outgrew with a single visit eventually.
Not arguing. Just discussing.
if you are worried about the social implications, then I would say no its not for you. I have 4 tats as well, each shoulder, and my right leg. I will never go below the sleave line not just because my job warrants it. But I don't like the social implications. Many people automatically label a person as a loser with visibile tats, or for women sluts. For some this may be true, but for others it is the passion of the art, and what you beleave in. We still live in an unfortunate reality that people are judged on your looks and not who you really are.
Everyone with a mother seeemd to get a tatoos nowadays..."tribal arm-bands," some cool looking Chinese letters that they can't even pronounce...lol...it's overrated and I kinda wanna beat the chit out of these punks at the gym and take their lunch money.
