societies have developed a weird system for these kind of things...do the crazy shit, carry the risks... but if things go horribly wrong, the govt/firefighters/heli rescue will bail your ass out....unless you get standed on the top of k2 or some shit. lets not say that doesnt exists, and these people somehow crossed the line by hiking in iraq

we'll still end up helping them as much as we can, and i don't think that is a bad thing. like i said in my earlier post, which wasn't sarcasm, people doing dangerous sports/athletic stuff still deserve assistance when they screw up.
doesn't make them less dumb, and it doesn't mean i feel sorry for them.
