i wouldnt play with time travel...but i sure dont mind jumping few a days offhead and get the powerball number and come back.

 

I don't believe time travel will ever be available to the general public or masses of people because there would have been evidence of it if it were.

time is not linear nor is it one dimensional.. it doesnt work like a vcr tape where u can fast forward it or rewind it.

time travel is possible in that you can alter your time in your point in space relative to time in another point of space but that doesnt mean you can say jump to YOUR past or YOUR future.

Maybe if we were beings of energy and had no physical mass we could. but them even energy has mass in a way. where did my quantum physics book go. this stuff used to make sense to me in college...ok, now im confusing myself.

 

This will only be a minor irritant. The collapse of the world wide food supply is going to have a far greater impact. Don't take my word for it; wait for the time to arrive, and see for yourself. Those wimpy little weapons you guys brought are a joke.

this guy is definetly a hoax, he makes the world, or the rest of the population resort to self sufficiency. If that were the case, there wouldnt be much of a technological leap because everyone would be too busy farming or making clothes. No multinational banks? yeah right.

However, I do believe that time travel could be possible.

 

TT comes up here from time to time, so in a sense, the idea itself is traveling. However, that'll be all that's traveling.

Time Travel in the sense that most people think of it is not only impossible, but quite preposterous. Time itself is the distance between 2 things that happen, you can never go back, end of story.

So what would happen if a ship were to perhaps cross into a blackhole or wormhole a rip in time and space so storng that not even light can escape it? How about altenate timelines? Sure someone could travel in the past and stop an assasination but that would only affect a different timeline.
Then there is string theory.
Also how about the experiments with an atomic clock which had different time changes (seconds) for one on the ground and one I belive traveling in the air or space? at a high rate of speed.
If you were to travel near or at the speed of light to a destination and come back, things on earth would have changed many many years while for you it would have been onl a few days or months.
So many theories out there. The story is crazy but you cannot discount time travel. Like the post above read about Einstein.
For example Dark matter is only just now coming to light. There are so many ideas in physics and space that have not yet been discovered.
