For those interested about Time Travel
There is an awesome book about all this stuff called "The Fabric of the Cosmos" By _____ Greene, I could find his first name but my backpack is in my car. He is a physicist at columbia university and explains all this stuff. Also talks about string theory, ect.
But you can travel in time - just foward. An object has a constanst speed through space time, if you are truely motionless all energy is devoted to moving through time. If energy is focused upon movement it slows your movement through time, but alows you to move through space. Driving in a car slows your speed through time, but when its only .0000001 second over the course of your lifetime, it doesnt matter.
The difference only becomes significant as you reaching the speed of light the speed of light (insanely fast speeds). So much speed is devoted to moving through space that you move through time, lets say, half as fast. So 1 second for you is actually 2 "Real" seconds. So if you bored a spaceship after birth, and your twin brother was left on earth, when you get back at age 35, he would be 70, effectively traveling forward in time.
Of course, if you traveled REALLY fast, you could be 6 weeks old and he be 70.
This is my understanding from reading books and talking to my physics professor, and is all put in my simplest explination - someone please correct me if I am wrong, i would hate to mislead.

wow I didn't even mention this. Anybody ever hear of the Philadelphia experiment? The movie is not really related to the true history of it at all. It was the U.S. navys attempt to basically make their ships invisble to radar since it was during WW2 and Uboats were creating disaster. I think they used a pretty famous physicist einstein? to help out. This experiment failed miserably. What ended up happening was that the ship got transported to another dimension and then another location hundreds of miles away. The navy ship was tied to another ship, all witnesses could see were the ropes still attached to the ship like it was there but the ship completely dissapeared. The ship and surrounding water was also covered in a greenish hazy fog. The crew had horrible stories to tell. When the ship did reappear some of the crew were actually molded into the bulkhead and walls of the ship. Half of their body would be in the steel then the other half would be outside. Shortly after this happened, some of the crew would actually dissappear and reappaer for seconds. One example was a bar fight. 2 navy enlisted guys went into a bar from that ship and got into a fight shortly after. The 2 sailors according to witnsses in the bar dissapeared and then reappeared.
This story fascinated me when I was a kid and it came out in the 80s. Numerous numerous books on this subject, unsolved mysyeries did a show along with discovery channel, sci fi etc.
Anybody else know more about this?

Anyone ever think of this?
Let's say I got into a car accident. So I got a time machine, decided to go back in time and prevent the accident from happening. Now, if the accident never happened, I would've never had a reason to go back in time to stop it from happening, meaning I never stopped it.......... so does the accident still happen? *SHRUG*
