Those who doubted my predictions
About a year ago I put forward some theories about future car models - particularly the new integra(rsx), new WRX and new sylvia, and tentatively a new s2000.
As predicted, the new typeR integra/rsx has a power output that is at the same level as the WRX and sylvia (Australia specs)
WRX = 160 KW, 290NM
Sylvia s15/200SX (Aust)= 147KW, 265NM
Integra/RSX Type R(JDM) = 162KW, 208NM
These 3 cars are in direct competition with each other in the various world markets Europe, Aust etc.
In Aust the WRX has been the bang for your buck champion for some time, recently the current TypeR has found favour for those who appreciate racetrack attributes.
Its nice to see that Honda has gotten its act together.
Now as for the next part of my yearlong prediction, it will be interesting to see if there is an s2000 update. I WILL NOT SPECULATE FURTHER, but I think the proof is in the pudding.
BTW check out http://www.vtec.net for the specs as above.
