Those of You with Allergies
Yeah, I had allergies (just sinus stuff) come on suddenly in my 30's. Sucks. Claritin and Zyrtec helped for a while but lately they don't do squat. When it gets bad I always run to the Benadryl. Oh hell yeah it makes you drowsy. But a heavy dose gets me out of acute suffering. I haven't tried Allegra yet.
Sometimes I think of moving elsewhere to change the outdoor stimulus.
My mom spent something like $5k doing allergy shots and testing over the years but it hasn't helped her much.

Oh... for those of you with sinus related allergies...
My neighbor has them, and he doesn't take any drugs. What he does is "irrigate" his nasal cavities. Which basically means he pours water up his nose to flush out the sinuses. Seems to work surprisingly well for him... I just can't seem to get the water where it needs to go

Ya, allergies for your whole life sucks. It's nothing like having other problems though...

I'm biased because I think people these days just take too much damn medication.

Try Alavert, the orally disintegrating tablet. I tried it because I have used claritin so much it doesnt work, then I tryed zyrtec...didnt really work so I opted for a cheaper otc solution...it works ok. try it at least.
