Tint gurus...
I asked the tint guy to re-do the rear window tint because the original installation had few tool marks around the rear break light which drove me crazy. With the sun behind your car, I could see them clearly with my rear view mirror.
Now that the new one is installed, I'm seeing "distortions" when I look at my rear view window to see what's behind me. Is this because the installation is new? Should I wait until the thing tint film "cures?" I don't think I remember seeing anything like that with the previous installation?

It sounds like you went to a real hack job of a shop. I have never had any of these problems you are experiencing. It takes about 24-48 hours for it to cure, and safely able to roll down your window, etc. I wouldn't wait too long before taking it back though.
But you're talking about the s2000 right? If I recall, you can't tint the back convertible window because it's a type of plastic on some years? That's what my shop said when I got it done, and they told me they wouldn't do it because it wouldn't cure correctly since it's not really a "windshield" type of window, it's a different material.
