The only thing you can do is man up and wipe the seat with a huge chunk of toiley paper, then hope to God they have toilet cover seats if you need to do the #2.

w00w! That's so true. Thanks for clearing that up! I don't think I'll be getting a new split toilet seat anymore. I tend to like to sit down and pee at home so I can read. I tend to sit there until I'm done with an articles though.
you like to sit when you pee? hahah

its ok i hover.. for cleaniness! but not for peeing.

See a lady can sit on the seat, a man should lift the seat, but then you got people who are 'speedy' like joe and don't have time to lift it. A guy should stand there and aim carefully at the opening and not splash all over the seat. The gap is there for guys who can't aim and for those last few dribbles that don't have the power to clear the seat. Those drops fall thru the gap instead of onto the seat.
Are you sure? Then that's doubly disgusting because now you have pee on the porcelain part of the commode!?

That split is so your wang doesn't touch the seat??

I always thought it was to minimize the initial dribble on the seat.

I tuck and roll before sitting, so I've never worried about the unit touching anything
That's the only reason I ever use an ass-gasket in a public restroom. It's not to keep the cheeks from contacting the seat, it's to keep my bidness from dropping through the split.

In most office spaces, the toilet seat for men's is shaped like a horse shoe.
