Default Too much traffic - any idea's how to alleviate?

Has anyone noticed how the traffic is horrible at just about any time of the day?

Any cities come up with some kind of great idea's how to alleviate?

Our local community college (HACC) is back in session, and apparently with higher enrollment. It is like a parking lot on all roads near the college at 7:30am - 8:15am...then again at lunch, etc.....

Helicopters for everyone?

for some reason i don't think anyone uses any of the public transportation around here... .except for the poorer people who cannot afford cars......... they should do some remote parking for this stupid community college and have a mass transit system into and out of it for sure!

electromagnetic rail system....not mass transit, because we Americans hate to give up our personal space in our cars.

Instead of an electromagnetic rail for trains, implement that into our highways and ask car owners to convert their cars to run on the rail, actually above the rail.

America is way too big for a transit system like that, and cities are too widespread as well. Tokyo is built on a tiny island where if you buy a car, the dealer has to give you a place to park it.

Double-decker highways, one on top of the other, would be my idea. No way it will ever happen though.
