i used to live in miami and i Regret every single second i decided to move up north..THough i needed to for financial problems , but hey if they are offering you a nice job u like to do, i woulndt think it twice. The city its Amazing, people and friendly, weather its YUmmy, Beaches.. ooooo, nightclubs alot of them Especilly ClubSpace is the best one, Overall its a really Nice place to live! .I would go like

Honey START PACKING!!!

 

Tough one... Gotta yourself where you see the company in a few years down the line? It sounds like your present company is doing bad enough to do pay cuts, so thats not a good sign even if it ends up not effecting you. You should do some research on the Miami company and see how well they're doing in comparison.

The people here are plastic, probably the worst quality people in America. Other than south beach, and the few other "shiek" areas miami is a straight up HOLE. Downtown Miami is a place where you don't want to find yourself at night, or you'll get shanked. Worst drivers in America, possibly the world(i'm positive on this one). Traffic at the weirdest hours, everybody's on drugs.

Lots of ridiculously hot women, but rest assured the ones you see out are purely gold diggers and sluts. Lots of good music, and places to dance to it at any hour. New York is definitely the city that never sleeps, but Miami's coming in not too far behind. Everything here happens late....all the true miami craze at least. Lots of places to drink alcohol(everywhere, i mean EVERYWHERE has a bar, or a bar right next to it, or serves alcohol themselves). Topless beaches are a plus. This is all from the perspective of a guy just finishing up college.
