I watched this race, and the crash to me did not look life threatening. I guess you never know! Ine thing i thought was the medical staff took a long time to get to the crash scene

I new this was a bad crash as soon as I saw it. The camera shot was very distant but it looked to me like the roll cage on the driver side was broken or seriously breached. The worst part is that the SCCA drivers are more like you and me, than other drivers in professional motor racing. Many of the trans am racers work during the week at normal non racing related jobs and race on the weekends (much like you and me).
Things like this make me remember how important it is to love the ones around you like its your last day....it just might be.
