U.S. Olympics basketball team.
This year is definitely a step in the right direction. The key word is "team" and the US has done a horrible job selecting players for the last 8 years.
Apparantly a basketball player is judged purely by speed. Mullin, Bird, and Stockton were better outside shots than anyone on the current team with the exception of maybe Redd. The original Dream Team would have a huge advantage on the inside. Barkley and Malone are probably the best post up PF's of all time and Ewing/Robinson was a nice combo at C.

We'll we're not going to get into an argument over the absolute greatness of Bird and Magic, because it would be you versus the entire world. And Pippen was arguably (and it is a strong argument) the second best NBA player during the the Bulls six title runs..
I think we should make a 'your retarded' sticky so people stop correcting its use
It's a joke dickie, so don't take that comment personally whatsoever.

The current redeem team is not too deep when it comes to big men. The only one that comes close is D.Howard. But enough of the "pissing contest" on which team is better. The boys are doing a pretty good job so far in the olympic games. Hopefully the good play continues as they progress through the rounds.
D-Wade is still my favorite player and he been proving this summer that he is arguably the second or third best player in the league. The way he been playing these Olympic games remind me of the 2006 NBA playoffs/finals.

D.Wade has stepped his game back up these Olympic games. I'm a die hard Spurs fan

In my personal opinion (key word!), the only extremely talented ones on that list are Jordan, Malone, and Drexler. The rest were...eh...either too slow or not too accurate shooters.
stockton probably one the greatest pg of all time. magic not a legend?!?!?! u gotta be kidding. whats so great about bird?!?!?! let me see, how many championships did he win?!?!? the dream team 1 had way more championships than the current one easily. the admirial in his prime!?!?!??! vs dwight.... i would like to see dwight get a quadruple double in his career. only dwayne and kobe have been to the promise land...
