U.S. Olympics basketball team.
i watched the whole game on dvr. it was an awesome game. however, there were a few things i think the US could do better. one of them is leaving d wade in more than kobe. wade was by far the best player on the team for the olympic series. also, down the stretch, i really am not a big fan of kobe pulling up 4 feet behind the arch and hoisting up 3s. its not like u have sasha and radmonovic to pass to, i am positive on the redeem team there is a better % shot if u pass than that shot.
also, the officiating on the international level really needs to step up. they need to be more consistent, however, i do like how they allow a litte more contact. unlike the nba, we are not watching kobe go to the line 5 possessions in a row which is a plus.
i understand that kobe is played more for his defensive presence, but it seems like in international ball, shooters are favored. imo michael redd should have played a little more and rained those short 3s (relative to nba).
marc gasol looked pretty good. that youngster pg ricky looks like the next shaun livingston (pre injury of course).
overall spain did well considering they played against the best in the US.
