Good clinch and knees! I suspected he'd take the win. The Florian vs. Sherk was a good fight but slow at times. Now waiting for the Coleman vs. Emelienenko fight. It'll be interesting to see Fedor fight as he hasn't been in the ring for a while can coming out of injury. But I'd think he's still unstoppable!!!

DAMN STRAIGHT! After being slammed upside down ON his neck by Randleman, I am convinced Fedor is a robot.

If I had a nickel for every time I saw a world-class fighter make the mistake of playing another world-class fighter's game I'd be filthy rich. Rich can beat him, he just has to play his game instead of letting someone impose their game upon him. What do you want to bet that the next fight won't end up like this one?

The fight reminded me of the last Liddell/Ortiz, and the last Liddell/Couture fights; if you play Chuck's game he's going to beat you, even though he's a terrible MMA fighter.

yeah, i've seen that happen too many times now and it is stupid. i really think a lot of these guys egos get in the way and they want to prove they can beat a guy at his own game. stupid, stupid.

no, i dont think it was a matter of rich playing anderson silvas game. i think it was purely that anderson silva is the better fighter than rich.

the ufc is basically a redneck bush league of fighters, when u have chris leben being considered a high level fighter in that division, and then being absolutely clowned by the same anderson silva (in fact, in that fight, leben didnt even land one solid punch, not one against silva)

i might sound like im a pride nuthugger here, but the level of skill in the ufc pales compared to pride. the only fighter that can rate is chuck, and he was soundle beaten by rampage, who is no longer with pride.

as a general rule pride>ufc

oh, and rich will never beat anderson silva, althought the rumour was that he was sick before the fight.

but the fact is, rich beat all the challengers that the ufc put before him, but its like being cba basketball world champ, ur never truly the best.

considering Chuck's outstanding win record-- and the quality of the fighters he has defeated-- I'd say your opinion is poorly founded.

Chuck fought Rampage back in like 2000, he's definitely a different fighter now and the best in his class. He's beatin guys who not only possessed great stand up skills, but excellent ground skills. He's a smart fighter and you have to be on your a game to defeat him.
As for rich, he didn't look like he wanted to fight. I couldn't believe he couldn't get out of the mui thai clinch since he practices in it on a daily basis. He is a great striker, but Anderson has been around longer and has more experience. I enjoy watching both pride and the ufc, i wish they would set up more fights between the top fighters in each though.

Wow there is alot of different opinions on here. First I need to get this out of the way and agree with blacks2k with pride is in another league(which i just got some comped tickets for the up coming one). I think Rich is a better MMA fighter but played it out wrong, dont get me wrong Anderson is one heck of a fighter. And Chuck is a better MMA fighter then most people think he is, why would he come in a try to change what he is doing in the ring that is working for him just to show people that he is well rounded also. And I got to get this out but BJ is way better Matt,PERIOD. But what do I know
