Exclamation UFC on SPIKE TV!

This show is pretty cool. I like the green team, and the blue team is just way to cock and arrogant and I'm glad they finally lost. Also glad bobby lost and is out. Can't wait for sideshow bob to lose to. Good fight though, striker vs striker!

Next ep looks interesting. Who is this mystery person? I doubt its chris perhaps....
Its one of the fighter who got booted initailly because they were not in shape. It would be to weird to have a fighter who lost come back? Or the guy injured has to have surgery and he gets to pick a replacement who is Chris?

The con are the show is on way to late, and I don't like it when the fighting gets to the ground and all they are doing is hugging each other.

Maybe PRIDE should do a training type thing to!

If this gets enough interest we should keep this thread running as a talk back for each ep

"and I don't like it when the fighting gets to the ground and all they are doing is hugging each other."

this is what seperates a submission guy from winning most times and a striker from knocking him out when standing.

most people aren't educated in MMA so they can't fully grasp the effective of grappling in a fight.

for me, the fight only gets interesting when it hits the ground, that's when you get to see the better fighter prevail.

most people think it's chris leben. (who actually trains and teaches at Team Quest which is Randy's actual gym in Oregon).

this show rocks! the stephan/bobby southworth fight was pretty close, i thought it definitely shoulda gone to a 3rd round.

i think the mystery dude is chris, i saw another teaser commercial and it sort of hinted at the judges changing their mind on the koscheck/leben fight, but who knows. i'd love to see those 2 go at it again

i think diego sanchez, as weird as he is, will probably go pretty far on the show. granted the dude he fought (alex k.) had poor ground abilty but diego really looked pretty good in how quickly he took him out.

anyways, i am hooked on the show! i want to see forest (the dude with the 1/2 shaven hair) fight, he seems a little insane.

nah alex ain't got shit lol, he fought the weakest and rookieiest guy on the green team. Throw someone like Stephan who can get out those submissions and has ground power and alex is out. I just don't like blue team

The ground thing would be interesting if they were doing more than just holding each other to the ground, I mean the ref has to do "clean breaks" because all they are doing is hugging not punching or kicking. If they were on the ground doing submissions and punching then it would be diff but for now most of them are just "hugging".

Now Pride is crazy!!....Open ring and just constant action....I love watching pride to

It probably is Chris but if the judges reconsidered then how about bobbys fight?

Chris seems ok but as the president Dana white mentioned he has alot of growing up to and with his emotions, he just doesn't seem stable enough to be a fighter sometimes.

another clue it is him is.....they showed the guys arm in the preview and its a white dude.

yeah the hugging is called a "lay and pray" tactic; a fighter is supposed to advance their position once on the ground either by hits ("ground and pound") or submission, not just lay on top of someone and wait it out. i don't think the refs and/or judges on the show have been strict about that for whatever reason.

i agree that it's somewhat cheesy if they start bringing people back, since then the show's producers or whomever can start manipulating the outcome of the contest. oh well, guess we gotta remember it's still a tv show lol. anyhow, i don't really care, just show me some good fights!

All the good shit is underground now.

The UFC is on it's way to becoming the next WWF.

yeh I still wish they would do more pride fights and show on tv
Even more UFC on tv would be good. WWE is just entertainment nothing hardcore and real. I still watch though.

Ultimate Fighter is a pretty good show. Better than most of the reality crap out there.
